Profile
Takashi Kadokami
Born 1991, Kobe, Japan. Father of two children.
During his studies, he backpacked to more than a dozen countries. He was struck by seeing children working in poor conditions, and later worked for a domestic NGO in Bangladesh to support children’s education.
From 2015 to 2020, he worked as a social worker, providing psychological care for young people who were suffering and felt like they had no place in society. He became interested in how people can build peaceful relationships with themselves and others without hurting themselves, and started exploring yoga, NVC (non-violent communication) and mental models.
Later, he visited the Peruvian Amazon forest on a journey of inner integration. He participated in a plant medicine ceremony held by an indigenous tribe and experienced a life of connection to nature and the earth.
He moved to Yakushima with his family in 2021 in search of a place where he could feel the most connected to the earth.
After moving to Yakushima, he began working as a guide, and since 2023, he has learned from Native American wisdom. Today he is creating a journey where each person can reconnect with their inner peace and nature, unlocking their inner-potential.
